Passing Through Ilwaco

Passing through Ilwaco, I was looking for a taco, I met a girl named Rita all the same. She took me down the coast, till I burnt her morning toast, she left me with a dollar and my name. Moved into Astoria, I met a girl named Gloria, she liked the drink and all the legal weed. As they say in Goonie town, some funky all went down, I sold my boat then I had to leave. I made it down to Netard Bay, met a friend named Ely May, found a place, thought that's where I'd stay. Her baby daddy came to town I lost a tooth with my last gold crown picked it up then walked into the day. Pacific city I found luck There were no names, but holly F*#k I remember the face, She taught me things, and that's all I have to say I was pondering the Meadow breeze When a pretty girl named Louise Grabbed me tight And we sure fell in love Now wet got a corner store I'm not traveling nomore Now we fish as long as we please. Sittin on the Oregon shore I ain't got no cares no more Life is what you get along the day Sleeping in a secret spot Sinking pots with buoyed knots I won't live this dream any other way
