Passing Shower

scorching heat one wind a cloud do not exist head hurts like it's going to explode From the radio weather center an announcer with a bright voice saying "before dark the drought is over and showers are coming" forecast Not that it isn't thunder lightning sound noisy from afar short thick raindrops break through the black clouds on the dusty soil on a solid rocks on the hot asphalt on the tin roof of the poor house crashing and crashing hard pouring a loud at some point it's quiet sham- ing go away let's open the window the surroundings are clean The scorching heat again headache doesn't come like first love that time I hear the sound of thunder that I thought was over.
