Word: Passing On

Here,
the world
is stained in
golden sunlight.
On this path I walk,
I can see my life in
pictures, in memories, which
are also stained in that pure gold.
Have I lived a full life? Is this it?
Am I worthy of walking in gardens?
Whatever is up there, answer me that.
As I wander aimlessly, I see,
the sidewalk has come to an end.
But I don’t fret, for I know,
that I am now at peace.
That murmur through time
comes to a close.
Here, I sit
at the
end.
