Passing Cloud

Each passing cloud,
Your song resonates with me,
Each passing cloud,
Your voice echoes.

Each passing cloud,
I remember your embrace,
Each passing cloud,
I see your radiant face.

I wake up and I hear you speak,
Those words sculpt my week,
I move with verve and fervour,
I hold optimism as a shield.

Though time has separated us,
The memory of you is recalcitrant in its stay,
The words concealed in your silence,
I can undoubtedly see.

Though the night has taken you away,
You dwell somewhere in my chamber,
It’s not a lost slumber,
it's a nostalgic ambience.
