Paso Doble

...and there
you are, dancing
into my life once
again, walking and
swinging to the tune my
soul
knows so well, bringing
joyful
devastation to my unresponsive
mind screaming for
me to let
go of any
restraint.

...and there
you are, hiding
behind your captivating voice once
more, running all sorts of sentences and
staring at my
body
in search of the
key to unlock
my passion.

I am
for you the mirror, the
shipwreck, the loss of
control. I am
for you the spirit, the
matter, the soul. I am
for you what matters and what
never
mattered before.
