Part Time Poet

She’s a part time poet spending most of her time alone
Even feeling lonely when she’s right next to him at home
Pretty sad that what matters to him is not her at all
He let her fall for him, with no intentions to catch her fall.
But she’s a part time poet, with so much potential you see
She’s come to realize that what she doesn’t need is he..
Because he is dragging her down, and killing her self esteem too
It is because of her poems that she was able to find a clue
A clue as to why he really could care less
About her when her poems are some of the best.
He hates that she writes mostly about him
But never again will she go for him out on a limb.
