Part Time Poet
You see me going, each and everyday
Off to work to bring home my pay
But there's a side of me, I'm sure you don't know it
I'm a full time dreamer and a part time poet
I know I seem like, just an average guy
Always looking down and never at the sky
But if you have the time, I swear that I will show it
I write about the stars 'cause I'm a part time poet
You know my wife and I, work together everyday
People can't believe, that we get along this way
But I know the secret, so I will never blow it
I'm a full time lover and a part time poet
