Parrallel Lines

If i had only known.
fleeting moments try to tell a tale.
Something that i would only understand after all the days lost, alone and still.
Only once too much distance has been built.
Too much ground to cover, should i forget it all.
Every time it goes dark in my room,
my mind overflows with memories fresh, illuminating these eyes.
I know now what to say, what to ask
Will we ever meet and break this silence, at last?
