Paris By Learjet

Paris by Learjet

Not to be provocative with opulence would be preposterously insane
Being obscenely wealthy makes one open to more fun and games
Embrace the pompous lascivious life style with me once again
If you are going to do life, do it right, do it in flight
My Learjet is waiting for us at my private port
To transport us into heavenly delights abroad
We’ll blend right in with euro trash and celebrity types
Be a sport and grab my hundreds bundled in the carry bag
Paris waits for us in all its grandeur at Four Seasons -George V
With dinner reservations at Le Cinq when we arrive
A few steps away from the Champs-Elysees
We’ll drink in all the sites and laugh at all the mighty poor
Later we’ll play casino games endlessly into night
I always win. It is in my skin
It is wonderful being rich like me
Spending other people’s money
I can’t remember where I parked the jet
How could I forget

Hi Linda, Thank you so much for commenting. I'm getting back to you late because I am still in Costa Rica and I have very infrequent internet service. I should be back in the states in a few days. I miss the USA. Have a great day. Earl

Hi SKAT! I'm getting back to you late to thank you for commenting. I'm still out of the country in Costa Rica. There is no electric service or internet service in the mountains and jungles where I was staying. I'm in San Jose today. I should return to the USA is a few days. Have a great day. Take care. Earl

Hi Jan, Thank you. The flight to Costa Rica was smooth. I figured out how to get internet service where I am staying in this region. I am going to the mountains and jungles in the morning. I know there is no electric in that region for miles. I'm going to do some hiking. We have guns so I'm not really worried about panthers. I am concerned about the deadly snakes though. Have a nice evening. Earl

Hi Connie, Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm in Costa Rica right now so I have limited computer access for the next 2 weeks. It is a little tricky keeping up with Poetry Soup items but I will do my best. Thanks again. Take care. Earl

Hi Richard, Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. I have limited internet usage at this time. I'm in Costa Rica at this moment. I will be in the remote jungles and mountains in the morning. There is no electricity but there is a lot of danger. I will not be able to keep up with other poets at Poetry Soup as I would like to. Thanks again. Have a great day. Earl

Reminds me of a line from a song ' I don't want much... I just want more. Got to say my pleasures are far more simple and a whole lot cheaper a bubble bath and sleep lol - good luck in the contest:-) Hugs Jan xx

Hi Jan, I was trying to sound like a rich snob or slob. Opulence is obscene. I'm still trying to figure out where I parked my Learjet. Have you seen it? Ah.. The trials and tribulations of being wealthy... It simply isn't worth it. I guess being bubble bath clean is better than being filthy rich. I hope you enjoyed my trip into the absurd. Have a nice night. Earl
