Parents

Parents the best things on earth,
the most uplifting, strong and caring people around.
they give you food they give you shelter,
they give warmth and love,

They are also the worst,
not letting you hang with your friends
not letting you date so-and-so
not letting you take the car for the night

being total Hippocrates!!!
You kids know what I'm taking about!
your parents say clean your room, and the house
meanwhile their at a party.

But then they go and make it right
by being there no matter what,
when something goes wrong they're there to fight the fight
Always there never gone a curse and a blessing.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
