Parental Loving

Through the many years of supporting Even the many times we fought Through the memories I have of them I know that they just loved me When my dad had died and left me crying His violin was put finally away Through tears of sorrow, now in the tomorrow I know that they just loved me Through her still dependent independence At 89 she still shows me Through her words and actions and her being I know that she still loves me See, as children we so question ourselves We say we’re not worth at all But, truth be known, parent’s are blessed Because they continue the loving
