In space two is a magic one. A single example of something out there could be a cosmic glitch, an astronomical anomaly. But, finding a second example opens up infinite possibilities. "The Rule of Two” also applies to the search for life in the universe. Finding extraterrestial life elsewhere, anywhere, would mean life is abundant - all over the place - everywhere.

"There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark" - Genesis 7:9.

one is not enough two is infinity found pairs are plausible
