Pardon Me

Forgive me as I excuse myself
I didn’t mean to bump into your shelf
It wasn’t really what I intended
I am just bruised and the shelf can be mended

I’m sorry I’ve knocked the table with my knee
I didn’t mean to do that and spill all that tea
I am not fit to be let out that is true
I seem to have trouble with everything I do

Please forgive me for all that I did
Sorry I knocked off your dustbin lid
I was just walking past and wham
I am so clumsy I know I am

Oops I’ve gone and done it again
I’ve just bumped your car what a pain
I didn’t mean to hit your car
I didn’t think I’d reversed that far

It sounds like you were having one of those days, Pamela, and I admire the way you keep your sense of humor intact with all the little accidents occurring. Very enjoyable read! Love, Carolyn
