Parasites are they Alive only by the skin of someone's magic A weird trick that keeps their memories Solidly out of comfortable reach Forcing them to keep their counsel As one when we they listen to each other Which is not often Ice King and Marceline Barely hanging on, surviving only because Of their determination to feel themselves again. United in their despondency Losing themselves Through their unique symbiotic relationship Fighting through the wreckage of a world Riding the crown of their own truths Neither of them truly royalty Parasites actually

I read it today and could not fathom what it was about actually, so it confuses even me today. Tomorrow, however, it may make sense again. My moods and days change rapidly.
