Paranoia

Whether I check the lock once. Or three times. They will still get in. All I can do is stay inside. And call my family ten times or so. I feel tempted to retreat to the numbness… My forcefield might be enough anyway… But I have to lock the door in case they try to get in. But I have to unlock the door in case they steal my family’s keys. They are not safe out there. I can not rest. Until someone opens the door. But it’s not going to be me.
