Paralysis
Let time unwind beneath your robe so that you may live
Question the gods you pray to, for ignorance will be proclaimed law
Open your windows that a fresh scent may come thy way
I see not the good nor the evil, yet I stand to my defense on my own feet
I glee for the sun burns still
Will it be in my life-time that the sun will burn a sore dwarf?
With in my blood flows the ink of the prophets that spoke for God my Lord
I His pen, my hair his curly feather and my eyes His vision of His creation
I fade into dust with passing time, and all I can say is love
For tomorrow may be different but my heart grows weak
I see in tthe sky the very hour that in which I will die
Will the world cry?
I plea guilty to sin, as a perfect man I not am
Smile yee says, but how can a sobbing heart even look up
It drags on to safety, and still it gets stepped on
With blood flowing, tracing the path in which my shattered vessel landed
It whispered once, and I held my peace
Now it dies and I hold still to my fragile mind
I see not an option, and I cry
Hold me Padre that in Your arms I wish to regain my sight
Its getting cold, and I see the wonderful spoken light
Its sings Padre, should I follow
My dreams near me not, and my body already began to rot
Over all I see my spirit leaving my flesh, alas I find my peace
I sleep in death
Amen.
