Parallel Existences
In the distance, tall trees raise their arms to the sky
Giving shade below, beckoning birds on the fly
While in the fields below, harvests wait for their time
A cycle of life and death, through rhythm and rhyme.
Whether it be a mountain, or an ancient tree
Or a bird on the wing, deer running wild and free
Or a flower that blooms, if only for a while
Knowing it is God’s master plan, should make you smile.
For in life, as in nature, each fulfills a roll
Each one has a purpose, a small part of the whole
A symphony of living, fashioned by Gods hand
Man, and nature, made to coexist in this land.
Their lives played out in this unknown eternity
Ours not to question, but faithfully, clearly see
Both nature and man, each living out His plan
Each fulfilling their destiny, since time began.
