Paradiso
You look into my eyes
I look into yours
you say "I love you"
I say "I love you"
time drifts away
there is no tomorrow
there is only now
all that is...we consume
entwined in blissful moments
that feel...eternal
could that it be
would that we'd wash away time
and fill ourselves in never-ending light
of glorious glow shining on our emotions
as we drown ourselves in its warm seas
frolicking in its mist
to rise above its waves
and dance with the wind
until we fly into the stars holding one another
as life frees itself from this world
and we find the truth of love
in misty dreams held in the palms of our wishes
where we will smile without fear or hesitation
leaving our vanishing footprints on love's shore
which will stretch to our horizon
awaiting our last breath in the twilight of our days
where we too will disappear into the rolling waves of time
carried far into the eternities as passionate lovers
that welcomed the kiss of love in its purest form
could that it be
as we look into each other's eyes
