Paradise Destiny

They say this life is cruel, evil and sad.
Why is it that we project this feeling so?
Sometimes things begin well but do end up bad.
Sometimes days start out gloomy, then end in glow.
They say we need to learn, from start as a lad.
Here and now, I prepare to say I am glad.
To have been born in almost paradise now,
I can shape my own destiny, I know how.
