Papyrus Skies

Oh, how I miss a live audience!
But writing humor to the stillness of-the night?
Like talking to a picket fence.
The laughter is simply not there!

Reminds me of something I so
Despise...canned laughter.
So infinitely dead and dry.
I look at the moon and howl, to a
empty, papyrus sky.

Doing live comedy, now that was
a thrill, you see?
But comedy on paper, has no
meaning or joy for me.

I can only imagine, but I would think that in person audience is always the best. My guess is, you were down to earth and Hilarious. From what I understand, effective comedy is not easy -- timing along with wit are paramount. I recall hearing this more than once from popular comedians, masters of their craft. You will laugh, but out of all of them, Laurel and Hardy are my favorites. Though I admire them all. Laughter is the saving grace of this world.

Prince de Mino! When you can be you on a stage, honestly the audience loves you,it was a real rush for me.you are right on. Always down to earth. I did this in Chicago and sF. One of my teachers was Tim Reid from WkRP in CINCINATTI. HE. AND HIS PARTNER Tom Dreesen were the only black and white comedy team ever. I never used an obscene joke, or used vulgarities a.lowed at all. Today all changed. It really lmfwas fun, as I said, got to work withpeop, who today are in Movies...was time of my life!laughtersis greaT, Swearing and obscenity were forbidden back then by all new comics, women today are awful.
