Pappy Jackson

Jackson the Pug, Was safe and snug At home on New Years Eve His girlfriend Janis, Was in her pajamas Of a pretty Yule tide weave They were alone, Both sharing a bone That he got on Christmas day Then she said to Jackson, " Remember that action" Now, we're in the family way Now, Jackson was prancin, Yes, even some dancin Around the Christmas tree He was so happy, He'd soon be a pappy How happy they would be

You should see how my face lit up when I realized this was another poem about your pup, Richard. You should write a book of them and let Jackson replace Snoopy as the nation's "top dog." You bring such human qualities to Jackson and entertain readers with your humorous poems about him. Thanks so much! Love, carolyn
