Paper People

Science says that
People are made of cells
Of bones and blood and brains
But I say different
People are made of paper
They bend at other’s will
And change their colors easily
They start out different colors
But can be changed to
Look the same
They can be folded
And trimmed
To be perfect
Or at least look it
And all the paper people
Have something
Somewhere
Someone
That can tear them in half
And something
Somewhere
Someone
Who can tape them back together.
People are made of paper.
