Paper Fire

Garish pix of nightclubs hot clubs hot pants hot girls swirl my mind as I lay in bed running you inside my head running and running and you’re stuck on replay as I speed the highway down the road flowing and flowing thoughts and words incoherent now just images of you me hot sweat heat lust maybe paper fire it may be flames licking licking tongues licking rolling rolling down the road. Thoughts shimmer in the heat blown by the wind wind chills me here chills the thoughts to frozen memories memories created in a time never revisited I think I’ll revisit for a while. A while ago I felt your arms your arms holding me hold me hold me tighter and tighter ‘til I burst flames licking our paper fire consuming as we speed over and up up and over rolling over and I flash these pix amid the flames a seer I daresay a seer of those thoughts poisonous poisoning my waking hours when I should be amid languid dreams of you me hot sweat heat lust maybe paper fire it may be yet these flames lick and lick stoking my desires igniting my heart sending me down a road I know so well too well taunting me with a cycle that rolls and rolls never stopping once to think twice. Once think twice. Once let the flames not engulf and slow down the speed I’m rolling too fast running too fast racing my way through the nightclubs hot clubs hot pants hot girls swirling in my imagination palpitation excitation over what may be only a paper fire.
