Paper Airplanes

I still have a child in me To play with my pupils in year three I taught them how to make paper airplanes To enjoy my art class in our best we can I first instructed them to make some folds To release and fly with a careful hold Initially, I made my own nice example The biggest origami of paper plane sample I threw it into the air with so much care They cheered loudly on my flair I was wondering where it’ll end up Too fortunate, it landed on my pupil’s lap. In this activity, they got the moral of the day- To dream is to set a clear goal on their life’s way In their best effort, they must follow their goal To succeed and never regret at all I further explained during my class To fold paper, careful planning is a must. In throwing paper airplanes into the air Takes great focus and control so it won’t land anywhere It needs determination to follow their dream Then pray fervently directing their heart to HIM I added: my big plane went fast into your direction That’s my huge dream...to help you reach your ambition Aug. 30, 2022 4.09pm

Hello Len, I remember the paper planes. I would throw the paper plane into the air, then watch where it would land. I remember this very well. Blessings always my friend. Darlene

Dear friend Len! What a poem of sheer childhood delight in teaching your class how to make dreams fly in paper airplanes. You are indeed a little kid at heart with a sense of fun so evident in your poem. I, too, am a little kid at heart not willing to grow up until I'm 92 then I'm going to wear high-heeled tennies. I guess all of us have a bit of Peter Pan in us - the irrepressible child. Blessings to you dear Len. Best of luck in the contest!
