Notes About The Poem
We have an awesome, and mighty God; One Who can rule the whole universe
and yet have time to listen and answer our prayers.
Papa God From Your Vantage Point
Papa God, From Your Vantage Point
Lord, from Your vantage point,
You are able to see,
each star and sun You’ve created and yet
the hearts of all men and still able to zero in on Allen and me.
You can be in a crowd yet
but You still have the best seat of all,
as You help unsaved people find You and at the same time
save Your people from a horrific fall.
You don’t have to worry about not having
Your seat in order to take a rest,
or someone like Satan as he tried to steal it
and found himself by You as him You did arrest.
Papa, how I have longed to sit on Your lap
and observe You at Your Heavenly controls,
how You have fine-tuned the stars and galaxies and
at the same time brought Your corrections to invoke.
I’ve longed to see how You handle each prayer from Your
children who are going through such desperate times,
to see You moved by Your mercy first hand as
You wipe their eyes and heal their troubled minds.
I’m not sure Papa if You will grant such a request
though it has been a heart’s desire in me for some time,
so I will give and surrender it all to You
as I wait for Your perfect plan for me and work through my life’s design.
Oh, Papa, I long to see You and my Jesus
and just to sit at Your feet,
But that will be when this life is over and
Your plan for me You would have made complete.
