Pantoum On Anxiety

I feel a knot deep in my chest at night,
The kind that makes you want to take your life.
That you don’t see coming as evil might
It is anxiety my biggest fight

The kind that makes you want to take your life,
The kind that means you are crazy, right?
It is anxiety my biggest fight
Who keeps me up at night

The kind that means you are crazy, right?
Replaying memories on repeat, I don’t think I could defeat
Who keeps me up at night
If only I could sleep

Replaying memories on repeat, I don’t think I could defeat
All the trauma I’ve endured,
If only I could sleep
This illness in my spirit I could defeat

All the trauma I’ve endured,
That you don’t see coming as evil might
This illness in my spirit I could defeat
I feel a knot deep in my chest at night
