Pancake Graduation Speaker

With nerves of steel and iron will,
I rolled a boulder up a hill.
With perseverance, guts and grit,
I almost reached the top of it,
but the rock then went the other way,
and as I speak to you today,
I must tell you the reason that
I stand before you, pancake flat.

Your guts & grit rate more than short shift. The boulder sensed your nerves of steel & iron will yet determined rebellion a fit fist for it did keen it would never be seen atop a hill & feared you were a pill trying to hide and demean its gleam .... I quit, friend, that's all I have. I haven't been on Soup all year & wanted to visit. So far, it's a good year let's hope it moves slowly. Enjoyed this, as always. I grew up w/ pig feet in the frig, wonder what your talent could do with that????

I'm sure glad to hear from you CayCay! Hmm, pig feet in the frig - wow is that Southern cuisine? That's nothing I've experienced, but of course, you planted the idea in my head, is it OK if I post this one: Lunch with CayCay Who should I have the pleasure to meet? Why, CayCay, who invited me over to eat, where she nicely offered me a seat - "Have some pig's feet! You may choose to have them with or without shoes." Glad the year's going OK for you so far...same for me, moving along slowly. I'm still eating my way through all the holiday sugar/junk in my house.
