Panacea

Presence is a life lesson to keep; parental pasts made one weep
Assisting others was a joyful leap but full of frustration’s trauma
Natural temples answered prayers unheard in organized religion
'All life deserves kindness!' but greed clawed a ‘me-first’ agenda
Conditioned to succeed, a schooled brain became a ‘love-lunatic’
Emotional pains wrestled mental ones through the long embrace
And when unbound, found, love’s road led the less travelled saga ~

Romantic Warrior! I remember you as one of my fave poets when I started as Sun Woods; you know, I thought it may have been you all along but was unsure. It was saddening to hear about Winged Warrior. Happy Thanksgiving to you; I'm keeping a grieving friend company. We're driving to all the National Parks in Arizona; such stunning vistas all around! :)
