Palm Tree Island
Vibrant date palms
Swayed with the breeze
Hues of green and yellow
Mixed with red and brown
Lawns of soft green grass
Tingled my feet
Inviting me to sit on it
Smelling an occasional wild flower
The sound of the sea
The taste of salt
My eyes closed in a dream
My senses mingled with music
A shout from the pool
A splash in the sea
Sound of hooves on the stone
With them holding my hands.
