Palestine Mother

My child and her first smile My child held gently in my arms My child my love my life My starlight in my palms A monster comes along There is no name to his face He cares nothing for us my child There is no name to his face He holds our hands and smiles It is okay my child I say Nothing to fear We are no longer living No longer living here My child and her first smile My child held gently in my arms My child my love my life My starlight in my palms Heaven on Earth You will be reborn In the Sunlight of hope We walk the rainbow bridge No longer do we mourn My child and her first smile My child held gently in my arms My child my love my life My starlight in my palms
