Paired Parings

A sister strides amongst the clouds
with teardrops in her eyes.
wisps of hair fly in the wind as
thunder claps her cries.

I call to her, as up I rise
with sunbeams on my lips
I grasp her cheeks with my two hands
as round her the wind whips

Her tears kissed dry she lightly trips
down to a lower plane
where breezy winds stroke gently by
a storm released refrain.

Arm in arm over jade terrain
the sisters dance so blithe
One dark one pale, both beautiful
each waiting to be wives.

Weeping... oh, this is a gift!!!.... on my 16th birthday, my dear friends who played violin gathered together other violinists. I was an audience of one. They played Pachabel's Canon for me, a piece I fell in love with earlier that year. 5 violins for me. This WAS my favourite gift that I have ever received. One that I can still hear. YOU surpassed that... I will print this out, frame it by my bedside. Truly, you have no idea how you have touched me. Even using BLITHE... damn, crying again :-)

A sweet and serene delication to your muse, Debs! Love the imagery "One dark one pale". Feels nice to read something lovely and inspirational.:) I suppose a a muse will marry whomever it adheres to, through thought and words. Best wishes, love, Mikki
