Painting Pain

I wish I could tell you

I'm doing fine without,

But I know that I could

Never be false.

Hope died long ago

Along with my heart,

And my blood flowed down

My wrist like tears;

Like the tears I bottle

Inside me, just trying

To get through the days,

Leaving me cold.

I grow numb as ice

Seeps through my

Wicked veins, darkness

Touching my soul.

What will become of

Me? I wish I could be

Like them, just let go

Of my inhibitions.

But I fear my fate lies

In the Shadows of my

Untold desires, so scared

Am I of their accusations...
