Painting Pain
When pain comes like a flashing flood,
Dare to swim in it;
When pain erupts like a blasting volcano,
Dare to burn in it;
When pain blows like a whirling cyclone,
Dare to fly in it;
When pain breaks like a shaking earthquake,
Dare to stand in it;
When pain flows like a roaring tsunami,
Dare to drown in it;
When pain hurts like a searing fire,
Dare to smile in it.
