It’s here
The end of my rainbow
There’s no pot of gold
But yet a fortune for me
It’s true
The life that we’re living
It can be much better
But we must make it be
That’s why
I stand here before you
Singing these words
I so long to say
And you
You’re part of the rainbow
The color so needed
That changes my day
So now, I’m painting my life
With much varied hues
A palette of color
Nothing subdued
And my eyes,
They’re filled with this rainbow
It has me on course
And it’s all cause of you
Yes, it’s true
My life
Is now painted with you
The roads
Were winding and rugged
But I traveled and tried
To make it to here
I knew
The goal was my prize then
The end is the victory
And now it’s so clear
So now, I’m painting my life
With much varied hues
A palette of color
Nothing subdued
And my eyes,
They’re filled with this rainbow
It has me on course
And it’s all cause of you
Yes, it’s true
My life
Is now painted with you

And the reason I try
You’re the lilt in my singing
The half of the whole

The mate of my soul
