Painting Emotion
Splatters of paint are all you see
But I see a story to be told
A caged women sets herself free
As her masterpiece unfolds
Hues of pink, orange and yellow
Become abstract before my eyes
Nothing mild, mediocre or mellow
I hear her artistic cries
With brush in hand, she tells her tale
The climax, dressed in black
Emotions expressed, colored so well
Holding nothing back
