The most important part of the piece, 
The part that makes you aware,
Is the part hidden in between the paint, 
The part that’s not even there,

It’s the idea the paint draws to your mind, 
The idea of what you can’t see,
The surprisingly abrupt sense of it all, 
When your mind is allowed to walk free,

You understand why no colours where used, 
Why it’s in black, grey and white,
Why sharp edges collide with nothing at all, 
Creating a feeling of night,

And you feel satisfied your mind figured it out, 
Your mind understands every line,
You feel satisfied you’ve uplifted yourself, 
Allowed your perspectives to shine.
