Painted Sky

PAINTED SKY
As the sun slowly sinks in the west,
Spreading a ball of colouful light,
Behind clouds sun dipping to rest,
Darkness soon takes over the night

Spreading a ball of colouful light,
These colours begin fading away.
Darkness soon takes over the night,
As I hope for another such day.

These colours begin fading away,
Disappearing from out of my view,
As I hope for another such day
Moments like this are quite few.

Disappearing from out of my view
This painting on sky's been a fest.
Moments like this are quite few,
As the sun slowly sinks in the west.
