Paint My Tears In Regret

You taste my deep regret
  i turned it into tears
I wasted my heart's glow
when you tore a new hole
  into my tender soul.

How the world turns each
everyway shreds my mind
and casts into the wind
this thing within my soul

I want to see
you as a ghost
I want to see you
burning most
while i bleed
this life away
while i sing
this prose to death

feed a black heart
to the crows
paint my tears
in deep regret
paint my fears
with your mask
and watch
the emptiness grow.
