Paint Me a Picture

Too close for comfort
Too far for warmth
I'm not one of the more confident sort
A heart of thin glass
So easy to break
Please don't tell me your affection was fake
To me it was never just one simple kiss
It was one moment of pure innocent bliss
Yes, you were right, but I'm still scared to try
Paint me a picture without all the lies
