Pain Paralysis

My head is pounding
My heart is bleeding
My nose is blocked
My throat is burning
Let me lie here and die

I can see my limbs
But I can’t feel them move
No movement, only pain
Nothing but pain, numbness
Let me lie here and die

Is that my heart beating?
Or is that my heart breaking?
Am I dreaming or am I awake?
Will these tears ever stop flowing?
Let me lie here and die

Let me crawl back,
Back into my mother’s womb
Never to know this pain unknown to man
Never to meet him and his hateful words
Oh just let me lie here and die
