PAIN OF MOTHERHOOD

It's a joy to share
A life within, a gentle tune
Though appetite fades away
The heart beats with promise soon.

It's a joy to see
A flat belly swell to life’s embrace
In discomfort, she finds peace
Even through the growing space.

It's a joy as the visitor knocks
Through the pain, she smiles and strives
For in those tears, she sees the gain—
A new life, where love survives.

It's a joy to watch him grow
From child to teen, her heart's delight
Pouring love without restraint
A mother’s care, from day to night.
