Pain Like Lightning
Sharp knife in my skull
Jagged lightning quick
Pain whistling away my breath
Bitter scream silent behind folded hands
Blind eyes in a second of a second
Sliding slowly out of bone
Pain slipping like water through the cracks
Out and away in the air
Left clueless and in wonder
