Pain Is Purposeful

I remember it all Every tear, every step When the pain wraps around you And claims back your breath How the fear makes you idle And you start to believe That darkness will forever Loom over me And as you fall through the abyss Deep into its gloom Let the shadows caress you And watch yourself bloom Though the colours are faded And you can't bare the weight Know that all of your pain Will be useful one day
