Pain Is Just the Messenger Who Is Awaiting Your Reply

Pain is just a messenger, That cannot leave until you give an answer, That shows you understand the question, And filled out the questionnaire to the senders satisfaction, And attached a plan for future action. Smart people don't shoot messengers, They stop when lights are red, They install smoke alarms in places they rest their head And don't put unread notices in the bin, And always hear out any messenger who comes in.

That is true! Yet it takes time to understand that. Once you do, things are getting a little bit easier ;) P.S. Situation in Poland is not great... I don't even know what to began with ;) Stay safe! ;)

Thanking you for reading and your comment encourages me. It also makes me feel like I am doing something that helps others during lockdown. I am 66 so my children don't want me to catch virus which means I have limited ways to help others. I pray you and your family can get enough to eat and feel safe. Best regards David in NZ

Thank you so much. I think the way some people cope despite great pain is inspirational. I hope this and other poems I have written about pain helps others who might be suffering. Am making headway with stamps and learning about history of countries through looking up their postal history. Glad you are still ok. David in NZ
