This is nice Kaitlyn! You've brought out the themes of betrayal and survival well - in the end the strength to survive and rise above our foes comes from within(and it's shaped from without). Lovely free verse!

Loving someone is always painful when it ends. But if you live with an open heart love will in time come around again.
