Pain In Happiness
There is no integrity to the happiness I’ve built.
Like a tree whose roots spread with momentum.
Only to tangle and then poison.
To shrivel- or maybe snap.
Happiness feels so lonely sometimes.
Is happiness permanent?
I find myself pursuing a disaster.
To counteract this senseless joy.
