Pain
A constant companion as you grow old
But sometimes as your young
Legs back arms
It continues to wreck havoc on the body
Pain
Sometimes you hurt so bad
You feel your hair and your toenails
Just throb
And the painkillers that worked so well
No longer work. At all
Joints pop and ache
Hands no longer can open jars
You become the best weatherman in town
You start to hurt just before it rains
Fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis
Osteoarthritis, osteoarthritis of the back
Hell just plain old age
Some of the things we deal with
You continue on no matter how much you hurt
No matter how bad your headaches are
You still have your constant companion
Pain
