Pages In the Book of My Life
Peaks and valleys not unknown.
Some rivers to swim through.
Majesties still to be shown.
Glories that heal and renew.
Traveling out into the wild.
This journey not easily met.
Opened eyes like a little child.
Those memories not lived yet.
Coins tossed into life's deep fountain.
Have laughed and loved and lost.
Yet nothing's kept me off that mountain.
I climbed it no matter the cost.
I view my life as a book in the making.
Each loved one has their own page.
They all create a memory worth taking.
Together we'll waltz on life's stage.
