Page Turner
Really enjoying very good book
It's one that's referred to as page-turner
Hard to put down I am completely hooked
Quiet as small mouse reading of murder.
Queen of crime writers has surpassed herself
Have been on the edge of my seat all night
Tension is building I subject myself
Protagonist is in desperate plight.
Each page is turned increasingly quickly
My hero is in a fight for his life
My skin turned so cold and then quite prickly
Such a fearsome read my blood turns to ice.
Ending draws close an adrenaline surge
Thunderstruck moment last page has been purged
