There was a man named Paddy Maclean Who resembled a fat runner bean. With his mates he got drunk Then brought up...and he stunk Like a skunk who was dressed all in green. ---------------------------- Contest: Anything Green Sponsor: Skat A Placed 3rd

Now that was a turn around ... hope it washes out! Amusing patty's day poem, Paul. I wonder why it is I keep seeing the word "bean" in a limerick? Maybe because it rhymes with green?

If there is something that I can't stand it's people getting drunk to such an extent that they get sick (apart from losing control of their tongue!) Glad you liked my Paddy:) I reckon that the bean came to mind to rhyme with green! ~ Regards // paul

Jan, St Paddy's Day was when this contest was launched, but it has taken a long time to fill up; in fact I've had this limerick ready for posting for some weeks now. Glad it elicited a laugh. hugs // paul
